the first family vacation

reminiscing about dis brought the happy feeling back again.. ok, actually ada keja sekoyan.. but i really am in need of a break.. i need 2think about happy moments i had in life so i can continue n be happy with what im doing.. (alasan)

ok, dis entry sepatutnya dh lama diceritakan. but ive been busy (bila yg tak ntah..) so here it goes, about our (the 3 of us) first family vacation. i ‘stumbled’ upon Melaka 4d destination of my family vacation early dis year. I had 2bring a group of participants from a regional training course, they were here 4a working visit for one whole week. We went 2a lot of places, sleep over kt Dorani Bayu Sg. Besar, (nice place, ada chalet terapung), pi Perak, Johor n sempat singgah di Melaka 2bring them have a look at the historical city. Not just historical city, its UNESCO World’s Heritage site ok? One we should be proud of because its internationally recognized (plus get funding of). When our group went there, we don’t really hv time 2go 2all those interesting places. We went up d fort, looked @d sunset, went down, took some photo in front of A Famosa n off we went for dinner in front Dataran Pahlawan. That’s all. So i saw road signs of "River Cruise” yet we didn’t go there cz thr was no time. So, hati sudah tekad, next time, must come here n enjoy dis place.

Finally, last ramadhan, soulmate n i planned for a short vacay. Since we will not b going back 2Kedah, n we hv quite a long Raya break, we thought, maybe we could just go 2Melaka. I know, its crazy 2b going 4a holiday time beraya. But its d only time we have n 4some other reasons as well. So we did it. Booked our room early, n wait for it to happen. (dh nekad, if we were 2go, we go as a tourist. just go with d flow n have fun). So on d 3rd Raya we started our journey 2Melaka, thinking dat we will arrive just in time 4check in (after 2pm). Turned out we arrived early n so, after searching 4our hotel (yep, we didnt even know whr d hotel was, kami guna our own GPS which was ‘you look at left side, i look 2 right’) we went straight 2Dataran Pahlawan 4our recce session. My dobot was behaving so good (slept throughout the journey), smp terus menyusu dlu, then we decided nk naik Menara Taming Sari. Tengahari remang ok! but who cares! parking was free dat day. Got d best parking spot n kami naik la menara tu. So cool it was, we got d whole view of d places we wanna go 2 n dat really helps a lot sebab we went utk redah sahaja! in fact we took a map so we will plan whr 2go as we go along. of course i have my mental checklist of whr is d MUST GO places. Then we had our lunch there n went 2hotel 2 check in n have a rest. (but turned out no rest cz dobot was running around d room melompat2 n our nap time cuma angan2 saja!) so we decided 2go out 2town again. So merayau la kami di A Famosa n then siap smyg n dinner kt the mall before naik beca pi river cruise..

dobot was so excited, his 1st beca ride! kebetulan, beca guy pasang hindustan (most of them does) dobot yg pertama kali dgr hindustan telah berjoget2 atas beca spnjg jln.. so cute. walaubagaimanapun, sesampai nye kt jeti river cruise, d long queue! n they even stopped selling tickets cz too many people alredi. so we didnt get 2go 4d cruise, so we took another beca n got back 2our car. akhirnya, blk hotel dat night 4a rest.

d next morning we started early. before 9 we have alredi arrived at Dataran Pahlawan. Got d best parking spot, we planned 2buy the duck tours ticket but it was still closed. (pg sgt la pulak kn?) so we went 2Muzium Samudera. Its the replica version of d Flor de La Mar’s ship. It was an interesting experience. U got 2see d interior of d ship, where d bilik tahanan is, captain’s deck is, etc. n its so clean, u have 2remove ur shoes. they’ll provide u with a plastic bag so u can carry ur shoes. of course they provide a place 2keep it, tp letak la kalo berani ek.. ehehe.. we were so caught up looking around (kata tourist kn?) when we got 2 buy d duck tour ticket, d first ride dh terlepas pn. since we dont wanna go for d ride masa tgh panas terik, we decided 2buy d ticket n booked d evening ride. so, 2past our time, we decided 2go 2taman mini malaysia.

on d way 2taman mini, ttba soulmate nmpk sign ‘taman rama-rama’, he swivelled d car exactly at d last minute n went 2wards it. dats d benefit of pegi bcuti sendiri dan bkn berkonvoi ye.. cz u changed direction sesuka hati je xikut plan pn org xmarah.. haha.. so we spent our time there. turns out its not really a butterfly park. its a mini zoo as well. dobot cried tgk butterfly but was so cool ms tgk harimau ngn crocodile.. punya pelik anak aku ni.. aftr dat we wanted 2go 2taman mini, tp it was closed 4upgrading. so we went 4lunch instead. then we went 2river cruise from d spice garden jetty (turns out its better 2go frm jeti taman rempah sbb tak ramai org pn). so sunny it was but dobot enjoyed d cruise. i did too.. cz the view of kampung morten is actually very beautiful. n if u got a chatty boat guide, d better. cz he’ll tell u extra things other than d recorded explanation. do u knw dat they purposely ‘ternak’ biawak2 kt dlm sungai melaka tu? they feed them with chicken ok? n biawak nye size dh mcm anak buaya pn ada!

after dat we went back 2 Dataran Pahlawan 2catch our Duck Tour ride. Funny how inconsiderate people just cut d queues. one pakcik (race not stated cz dont wanna sound racist) was complaining, he said dia dh beli tiket dr pkul 3 lg. sib baik mood i baik tau.. dia tak kira kami beli dari pkul 9pagi? nyampah! so berjaya kami naik duck tours wlupn duduk blkg skali. our guide tak brp best sgt. mcm mabuk pn ada. ckp mcm weng2 sket. history tok kaduk apa suma crita dgn mata pejam smbil tangan mcm karam singh walia. dh mcm tak enjoy pulak blabbering dia. dobot buat hal sket but behaved smula slps upah dia biskut coklat kegemaran dia tu. then we went back to hotel semayang n freshened up.

final night we went back 2town, n pi naik beca lg. since we have promised nk posing kt muzium umno, jd kami gagahi jg xmau pki stroller bw si dobot. (btw, dobot terkena angin manja, ms raya byk berdukung, jd ms trip pi melaka, angin berdukung melekat, xrajin dia nk bjalan wlupn dh dpt kaki). then we went 4dinner kt ns lemak antarabangsa yg sungguh xsdap tu! bluerghh.. pstu, we decided 2go again naik menara taming sari utk tgk night view of Melaka. Pengumuman ye : tiket menara taming sari 4 night n day lain harga. n night time they give u a goody bag 2go n u’ll be on d menara 4extra 2 minutes as compared 2 naik ms siang, dats why mahal sket. then we naik beca again pstu blk hotel.

next morning, after breakfast terus je blk my parents’ house sbb tak beraya lg situ n 2avoid traffic jam. since its still raya weekend, takut jg kalo we will be on d road 4hours jz because we’r stuck in traffic. turned out, xjem lgsg! smp umh parents i pn awl gila. kalo tau, pi smbg jln2 dlu.. hehe..

things i didnt get 2do are a walk at Jonker’s street, all those perigi stuffs, taman mini cz of d renovation, zoo melaka (which ppl say is awesome too) n a look at d house / living muzium kg morten. actually thr are more.. only thg is, if i put it in a list, surely i have 2go there again 4a week or so cz there r so many thgs 2do! but yep! i wanna go there again!

anyway, i wanna share some tips 4 d vacay, especially in Melaka :

1) get any hotels nearby town. no need 2b choosy. u dont wanna b in d hotel all d time anyways, u wanna b around town. even if its a 3star hotel, its Melaka ok? d hotel is not so bad cz they hv tourists all year round, so they kept it clean n such. Seri Costa is d nearest hotel 2Dataran Pahlawan punya area, d best spot, but not sure about parking. very convenient, bt i didnt stay there, so im not sure of drawbacks. d point is, its very, very close 2d tourist area. 4those of u yg xtau Dataran Pahlawan, its d centre of Melaka’s attraction. Its where the menara taming sari is located at, the duck tour ride starting/drop off point is, within walking distance 2muzium tldm, muzium samudera. in fact if u dont mind walking, its not so far away from A famosa fort, clock tower / Stadhuys a.k.a Red Square and river cruise jetty.

2) river cruise : try from jetty tmn rempah. less people, easier access n parking

3) b a tourist! jz take time 2explore everything like a real tourist does. go for beca ride, cruise, etc. take photos even if u are local cz ppl pay a lot 2come all d way 2dis side of d world. its heritage site, it must meant somethg.

4) enjoy! dont care about d time (kcuali wktu semayang la weh), dont go rushing into things. relax n enjoy d scenery, d vacation n d time u have with ur loved ones!

ok then.. next time i might blurt out about my recent trip 2mexico n my ‘an evening in Paris’.

hari raya la apa lagi.. xckup ok.. kejap sangat.. tak ble ke raya cuti sebulan? cuti umum.. raya tahun ni kt umah PIL. 1st time selepas 3 tahun. tahun pertama, raya kt kedah. masa tu soul mate kata, tumpang dia cuti, kena blk kedah. sbb tahun2 akan dtg blm tntu dia cuti masa raya.. dan makbul doa dia! tahun kedua, tgh berpantang, dia pn masih keja lg malam raya. tahun ni tambah lg, malam raya dan malam raya pertama dia keja.. sguh efisien! (NOT!). tp sgt eksaited raya kali ni. cz dobot tersayang dh pndai jalan.. tp maaf ye, mohon ampun, masa raya tu nk berdukung aje kerja nye! nk tau napa? pasal malaun bawah ni hah..

nk tgk mickey ni ok! (tengkiu to his mak tam and everyone yg merancang his bday celebr8n). so hari raya pertama mmg la meriahnye.. makan jgn cakap la kn.. udah masterchef ramai kt umah PIL, mmg perut sgt sukahati la.. jd menyambut hari jadi danial walaupun dia demam, tp lasak ok. kami dpt pi beraya 1 rumah je hr tu sbb risau dia demam, lg pn ramai yg dtg umah PIL. dlm kelasakan danial, gmbr ini saja yg dpt disnap cntik menggambarkan gmbr hari raya kami sekeluarga bertiga..

apa kata bila ada masa nnt crita pasal holiday yg best itu? hehehehehe

sapa ke manusia dlm malaysia ni (muslim especially) yg masih bersemangat nk kerja lg time2 gini? next week adalah raya, and yours truly will b go’g to Melaka utk cuti2 malaysia yg pertama kalinya untuk kami bertiga.. Udah lama mem’plan’ utk pi melaka as a tourist. mau experience it as a tourist would. nk naik beca (soulmate asik ckp kt dobot ~read : danial~ “abah akn kayuh beca nnt”.. kot ye dia nk tlg kayuhkn beca!), nk naik river cruise, nk naik duck tours n all thr is to do nnt.. bestnye!!!! xsabor ni! saya berdoa, moga2 danial akan behave sbg seorang happy baby that he is sepanjang tempoh men’tourist’kn diri.. eh, apsal lbh excited nk cuti2 dari nk raya ni? ok ok.. crite psl raya la..

raya ni kali pertama beraya dgn dobot dlm erti kata raya pakai baju raya.. raya tahun lepas dobot br je brp hari.. ibu pn masih dlm kesakitan (sehari sblm raya kna dmam susu ok?) dan pertama kali le raya pakai kain batik.. huhuhu..tp alhamdulillah, rezeki dobot dpt duit raya. raya tahun ni plak dh ble pakai baju sedondon bertiga.. whoopeediidddooooo!! alhamdulillah dobot pn sudah ble bjalan sblm umur cecah setahun, so raya ni, kutip duit raya sendiri la ye dik? tak sabo nye nk raya!!!! *chicken dance!*

sapa rasa pelik sbb malaysia kalah semalam? nope.. not me. i mean its nothing new kn? ckp le saya unpatriotic (ye, saya jg tidak bersama2 group patriot masa demo bersih hari tu), tp saya mmg tak brp pcaya kalo team bolasepak malaysia ble msuk wc 2014, n myb not 2018 pn.. u've got 2b kidding me?

dis morning, an ofcmate gets pretty uptight when i said, its expected of them. dia kata team malaysia suma malaysian, takde import2, gentleman cz d othr team pki import-given citizenship status. wht the fish???? dorg hantar veterans ok? as wht soulmate said, "if u knw they were veterans, get them tired in the 1st half, instead HM was playing as if they were the one leading by 2goals!". dats logic!

apsal kita tak ble terima kalo dorg kalah bcz they are just not up to it? "kita tak kalah, kita seri" dat's an understatement of the year! i dont play football, not avid fan of it as well (Man Utd is exception). tp its a bit funny as well people making comments in fb, twitter etc. org yg xpnh2 crita psl bola pn penuh comment. mcm wc season la..

Cobwebs!! Yup.. If dis blog were a living thing, it surely is being covered w cobwebs. And ppl will sneeze everytime they walk pass it due 2d dust thickening.. Yes! Yes! If it cld talk, it'll complaint cz its been abandoned 4so long.. Sad eh, 2hv me as d owner?

Neway, I'm in my final moments of my pregnancy.. Its a bit nerve-wrecking. A few weeks 2go.. I'd be lying if I said I can't wait 2deliver d baby without hvg a glimpse of fear 2d thought of going thru d process of labor. I mean who doesn't? But I'm so prayg dat evrythg will go as smoothly as possible.. (Doa2 la utk ku!!) Baby is do'g great.. Very active baby he is! Sometimes I almost tripped myself whn he kicks! (Exaggeration!) Well, he's baby rooney, enough said!

D thg about pregnancy is, ppl sometimes don't care dat u hv special needs. Dats wht I'm referring 2 4dis post. Especially whn u r a petite mom-2-b.. Here's a few incidents :

1) Smoking morons
Sudah le ko mmg moron, (if u were smart, u won't book urself ticket 2d die. Since u are try'g 2kill urself, obviously u r not smart la kan) ko nk sgt 2die ever so slowly, do it alone. I don't undrstand ppl who smoke in public places. n 2do it infront of preggy woman, shows hw ur brain is so contorted due 2heavy smoking!

2) Org xde sivik
Whn they opt for sitting toilet, but they stoopydly squat on it. And thr's so many vacant squat toilet @dat time! Hello? Udah le ko cgkung, xreti lak nk jirus blk, kesan tapak kasut pn btepek lg kt toilet seat tu! Ni pn nk kna ajar ke? Neway, breaking news 4u-perut org mngndung bkn jenis cm perut blemak. Klu yg tlbh lemak tu, perut nye agak2 bouncy, and its somewht lembik le kan? Klu preggy, d tummy is hard ok? Keras. Tidak ada option utk dikempiskn. N its not easy 4us 2squat. Obviously if thr's option, we want 2sit rather thn squat. I usually go for squat toilet ms blm preggy. Bt, preggy time, xdapek la.

3) Mad drivers

dis one, most common i encountered with. im not sure which part of me dat somehw gave them d idea dat i cld actually sprint during pregnancy. once, i ws crossing d ramp at my apartment. frm d parking lot, i've no choice but 2cross it before reachg d elevator. n unfortunately, ramp tu bentuk persembahan nye adalah dlm keadaan turun bukit (kecerunan berapa degree tak tau ok?). klu nk kuar parking, kira kita naik ramp, klu nk msuk parkg, kna turun ramp le. sdg i melintas, i nmpk ada satu kreta kenari dr atas ramp tu dr ekor mata i. (chewah! bionic la kunun..) yg i tak paham tu, apa punya pe'el org kn, dia nmpk org melintas, tp dia ada sket prsn hyper nk menekan minyak? yg pelik nye, ko nk msuk parking kn? mksudnya ko nk blk umh la kan? rumah ko ada kaki dh nk lari ke apa yg ko nk laju2? ble tak, dh la dia nmpk i nk lalu, dia tekan minyak, pastu buat muka mcm bagus, kunun i ni bersalah krn berada di laluan dia, pdhl dia yg tak brp nk pandai sbb tak reti nk slow. ko tak blaja law ek? klu langgar pedestrian, waima pedestrian salah, ko ttp salah ok? mcm le dia bw lambo, pdhl bawak kenari je! pastu, kt ramp tu mmg ada bonggol, common sense la kn mksudnya, u r not 2speed kt ramp tu? owh! nw i get it! u dont hv common sense! serius terlupa! mad mad drivers! jahat! i dont like! (takde la icon unlike utk i click!)

4) Perempuan, tp xde prsn!
A) Ok, I recently g solat kt surau mvley. As usual, most surau tpt wudhu' kt dpn pntu. N I ws queueing nk amik air smyg, bdiri ats carpet dpn tpt wudhu' tu. Carpet tu pn carpet bsh, wht do u expect? Dpn tpt wudhu' cnfirm le bsh kn? Sorg minah ni, rs budak u la, gaya bw beg ngn bku2, mgkn budak um psl mvley dkt ngn um (Ok,ni teka je). Dia nk kuar surau tu, dh siap pki stokin. Yg bgusnya, dia nk lalu gak atas carpet tu. Ble x, bila stokin dia bsh ms dia jln, dia tolak mak buyung ni smbil ckp 'ala basah! Basah!' Ko ni ada otak ke x? Ko ingt klu aku tsungkur, perut aku ble cushion kn aku la? Btol punya sengal.. Dlm byk2 org dlm surau crowded tu, ada sorg je pmpn yg siap pegang I sbb xnk I tglincir kt tpt wudhu'. Dia siap pesan dgn btol2 prihatin, 'elok2 air btakung, jln pgang dinding, jgn laju2, bla..bla..bla..'

B) kes kedua pmpn xde prsn msih di mvley.. Dgn soulmate g kt food junction. Since rmai org, soulmate tnjuk meja, then I went 2save d spot 4us, soulmate trus g queue nk order. I ws standing, waiting for d cleaner nk clearkn table. On my right, ada couple tgh duduk facing each other kt meja tu, tp ada extra chair antara dorg bdua tu, which is exactly beside me. So, while waiting, I toleh le ke meja dorg, xkn nk tgk pgung bangla tgh ttonggeng2 lap meja kt kiri I lak kn? Kang xlalu nk mkn.. Ehehe! Ble x, minah poser (krn dia make up tlebih) ni tarik hbag dia, hempas kt krusi kosong tu? Hello? Aku xnk duduk pn kt krusi tu ok? Ko xnmpk aku tgh tgu meja sblh ni? Kot le ko ada hati perut, mmndgkn mmg krusi tu xde org, ko nmpk pmpn ngndung sblh ko tgh bdiri mnunggu, xreti la nk offer krusi sbg common courtesy??

5) Ada mata tp letak kt lutut
Ni lelaki ada, pmpn pn ada.. Budak2 je x, pelik kn? K, msih crita d mvley. Soulmate g toilet, I nk g surau dlu psl biasanye dia akn hbs dlu kn? Pmpn nk tgu telekung la, apa la.. So, I told soulmate I'm go'g straight 2surau. Dlm pjlnn tu, mak aih! Suma cm xheran pn dorg dh nk langgar org ngndung. Mentang2 le aku ni kecik, korg buat xnmpk je ek? Pdhal dr toilet nk g surau, bkn jauh pn, tp cm a journey yg sguh challenging! Ms tu I thought, best nye klu ada stroller baby, sure korg suma kna langgar! Geram!

So, apa kah moral of d story? Jika bdn kecik, mesti ada bodyguard ms preggy.. Pastu kt mana2 pn mmg ada org xbhati perut.. Xdapek nk nolong!

The confusion

Dis is d 1st time I'm actually blog'g in bed. smntara tgu mata ngntuk,mau post n3 le konon.. dgn hrpn jg, my bb will cooperate dis time arnd dan tidak buat hal bila nk post n3.. btw, my cnfusion revolves arnd 'cooking'. Apa kah yg dkatakn mmasak? No! Pls don't refer 2kamus dewan. I don't need d mean'g of it literally.

Frm my point of view, bila org tu dikatakan mmasak, dia siang apa ptut, pstu dia pgang senduk, pstu dia msuk kn bhn2, pstu dia rasa2, pstu dh sedap n dh ready dia hidang, pstu dia siap masak.. So, technically, I've never cooked since I got married! Sbb pe? Ok, here's why.. I've dis routine, bila dh siap siang2 n ready bhn, I'll arrange everythg accordingly. (Talk abt O.C.D!) Which 2go in 1st, dok plg dkt ngn kuali.. So bila tgh susun2 tu, apa tjd? Soulmate akn tcegat dgn senduk! Wlubgmna pn, dia xkn leburkn bhn2 tu dlm kuali. Klu nk tumis bwg pn, I've 2cmpak dlm kuali. Tp senduk dia yg punya! And he'll prctically do d cooking 4us! Yes! He did it with style.. Mmg suma kt aptmt ni ble dgr dia ketuk kuali! Huahuahua! Bt d thg is, if I ws not d 1 yg pgang snduk, feeling dat I did d cookg tu tak ada. Jdnye, bila soulmate mkn dan ckp 'sedap b masak' (wlupn ayat tu blm tntu sahih, mgkn dia nk amik hati), ssguhnya sy xde prsn! Sbb dlm kpla pkir, 'aku ke masak td?'.. Dan mula la dialog2 sengal menunding jari siapa tkg msk sbnrnye..

Ada pd satu ktika, I said, "soulmate, tmbh la lg.. Penat soulmate 'masak'.." Nk tau soulmate ckp pe? "Aik? B perli ke yang?" Pdhl I really meant it! Cz seriusly, mmg trsa cm soulmate le yg msak utk kami bdua psl senduk tu bkn I yg pegang.. Owh ye la.. Br tringt! Ptutla mak suka amik blk senduk kt tgn kite klu kite pgang time dia msak.. Mgkin dia pn rs tak feel la masak tp xpgang senduk.. Mak, org dh phm dh prsn mak skang!!

Tp scra jujur, I don't hv d intention 2stop soulmate frm departing frm his fav (and fab!) job in d kitchen! Its like hereditary ke pe? cz my FIL is also a fab cook (no, he doesn't just pegang senduk..). Wlupn soulmate xtlibat dlm mbanting tulang mnyediakn bhn, tp dia pgang senduk tu shows he wanna help. N I'm glad he did! Jd soulmate, if u read dis, pls take note; amik la senduk mana2 pn dlm umah ni yang! I support u! U r d best soulmate!! K, nk tdo.. Nite! Nite!

the time to reminisce about last year

ok, 2be honest, dis entry wont exactly b abt me reminiscing last year's event. Bt its somewht an attempt to do so. I ws trying 2post an entry ystrday, d 25th of April, bcz it ws my 1st year wedding anniversary. unfortunately, my bb wsnt in d mood of cooperating. hence, i had 2delay it till 2day, which i felt will defeat d purpose of me writing abt my so called anniversary cz its d day after. Anyway, so as 2please an annoyed pregnant woman, please read dis as if i wrote it on dat day itself..

today is my 1st year wedding anniversary (yeay!). i have 2admit, sometime ago whn dat female singer who-went-all-d-way-2royal-albert-hall-2hold-a-concert (u do knw who she is rite?) celebrated her 1st wedding anniversary, i ws a bit flabbergasted. i mean; hello? 1st year? cld u b more serious? some ppl lasts till like 40th year n more, n they dont even celebrate or publish it in d newspaper. i mean, wht did u try 2accomplish here? bt then, it ws my turn.. (no, i did not publish in d newspaper or have a mega-celebration). since soulmate received his bday pressie dat he loved so much frm urs truly; he kept on asking me wht 2get me 4our anniversary. (to wait till my bday will take so long, cz its nearly @d end of d year). bt i then decided, i dont want any pressie; save d money 4d baby.. tetapi.. bila tiba waktu ke anniversary yg semakin hmpir, mak buyung telah request perkara yg semakin kerap di-request olehnye.. which is : makan! yes, yes.. so dis entry wont exactly b about d anniversary saja, malahan tentang tembolok mak buyung yg smkin mjadi2 kehendaknya..

so, pd sehari sblm kejadian (anniversary) mak buyung telah mengajak soulmate mkn2 di restoran rebung chef ismail d bgsar. (occasionally, whn i hv i'tnl visitors, i'll take them there 4lunch, so they can get a taste of Malaysian delicacies. n its always been one of my favourite restaurants). tba2 telah mdpt idea jugak utk mkn bsama sefamily, krn mngenangkan, pd thn lps, sefamily itu telah disusahkan dlm perkara2 bkaitan wedding, mlhn smp ada di antara mereka yg jatuh sakit krn bhempas pulas smsa majlis kahwin tsebut. utk itu, satu arrangement telah dibuat utk bjumpa di rebung dan mkn2 shingga perut kembong (almaklum, its buffet dinner = eat all u can bebeh! reason yg ckup kuat buat mak buyung suka klu mkn situ). jd ini le sdikit gmbr2 dr bb, courtesy of my sis; awien n my twin; meme.

yup.. yup.. my last entry i wrote about me wanting to surprise soulmate for his birthday, planning to cari baju for along's wedding n bakal mjadi pengapit kategori mak buyung for along. turned out, suma nya gagal.. jz a day after i last post an entry, i went 2 ofc as usual. well, selepas hbs tmpoh 'mengeram' (morning sickness) i got somewht energetic 2go 2ofc. it was normal early morning, but sometime around 10am ~ish, i started shivering n rs sejuk satu badan. i thought i need 2eat, so i waited smp i had lunch w K.Ina wlupn tak larat nk jln g TH. bt after lunch + dh zuhur, rs cm lembik smcm.. n zombie-like me decided i need 2get back early so i can go 2clinic. so, i drove 2a clinic nearby my hse. doc ckp, jz a mild fever, get home, sleep early n by 2moro u'll b ok. but he spared me MC jz in case.

unfortunately, it ws not mild fever. blk je rumah, terus terlentang.. penat tak hengat.. n soulmate terus je ckp 'rs nye denggi ni'. n i ws thinking like, 'wow! wht a terrific hubby i hv.. d least he cld do is doakan yg elok2, ni mulut dia takde insuran le pulak..' tp, dsbbkn tak larat, lynkn saja soulmate berkata2.. then, mlm tu 4x muntah. bdn dh mkin panas. soulmate pulak dh sah2 g keja.. tinggal le sorg2 lyn skt. bila dh pg, rs still tak elok, since ada MC, dok saje kt umah. d nx day (sadly, it was soulmate's bday) soulmate took me 2a hospital 4blood test n turned out, mmg mulut takde insuran soulmate itu masin.. bila doc ckp blk dulu, drink 3big bottles of water n come back 2moro, i thought '3 botol air? cm boleh, sng je. minum air bkn payah pn.. sure esok ok' (ye, denggi ni bkn ada ubat yg spesifik. since im preggy, lg la.. lgpn doc ble bg panadol utk kurgkn dmam je n advise minum air je la byk2) tp kn, bila blk umah, jgn kn 3 botol, nk dpt hbs 1botol pn payah. mkn lg le tak lalu. my PIL ada dtg melawat w along, bw jus jambu. lyn le juga minum. bila nk tido, ssh yg amat. kepala rs pening sgt2. tbgn je, kepala skt. nk tdo blk mmg pyh.. smp menangis le skt kepala.

d next morning, bila kt hospital nk amik darah lg, d nurse tgk dh lmbik sgt, xjd le nk cucuk cz dia tkut pengsan. so, trus msuk drip n hospitalised. smpat juga scan baby, but since baby looks fine, takle risau sgt. dh msuk wad, i ws somewht relieved jg. cz @least we'll b monitored closely n msuk drip tu ble la ada tenaga sket. tp mmg le muak, asik hadap 100plus, pstu dpt lak sup ketam hmpes (dlm kata lain, sup ajinomoto!) yg soulmate beli kt one seafood plc nearby d hospital.. (soulmate tidak salah dlm hal ni. tp apa kes kedai tu buat sup ajinomoto cenggitu? bkn ke soulmate mintak sup ketam? ya ALLAH! ble tak kembang tekak teringat blk?) terus fobia nk mkn sup ketam yg my father masak d next day. after 4 days kt hospital, soulmate hntr blk umah my parents cz i ws given a week of MC. bt i hv 2 go 4check up juga 2check platlet drh. spnjg minggu cm zombie.. but appetite tu increased le.

d weekend ws along's wedding. my parents however had 2rush back 2kedah cz tok wan pulak skt. they also had planned 2go picnic, then terus singgah wedding along, tp tak jadi. as for being d pengapit, i obviously had 2forget it. cpt sgt rs penat. akhirnya jd spectator je la. if not for d fact dat i had 2attend a group of visitors coming, i obviously wld take another week of MC cz mmg rs penat lg nk g keja. masuk ofc pn dgn pening kepala lg. tp gagah kn juga la. skang ni dh ok. rs fobia jugak ngn nyamuk.. hampes! kecik je tp nyusahkan! rs cm br je nk elok mabuk, dtg pulak denggi.. dugaan btol. tp mmg area umh tu byk kes denggi pn, tak sangka le diri sendiri nk kena. tmbh2 ngn preggy ni, mmg le risau. it definitely is a great lesson 2b learnt. u wld think ur hse is safe, bt it doesnt mean u cant get it. even whn u've tried preventing kt umh, kt parking, kt basement tepi longkang tu sapa nk kisahkan? mcm2 kn?i however am very thankful juga, all is in d past n all's safe. hopefully, lps ni ble 'menikmati' tmpoh pregnancy yg normal. mau mkn2 dan menambah berat.. =)

mak aih.. one month tak update blog.. its becoming a habit of me to jz tgk je blog ni, tp tak update.. punye la malas.. tu tak masuk nk muntah lg.. but now, im officially back to becoming a normal human being.. (harap2 nye btol la).. sbb sudah semakin pulih dr mabuk2 and im currently building up my appetite dan perut adalah sedikit muncit dr kebiasaan.. kadang ngeri juga nengok.. tp mmndgkn mmg akan lbh besar dr ini, jd sedang menyaipkan diri dgn psediaan mental bila bdn nnt mbelon.. well.. im on my way 2 my 4th month now.. skejap je dh 4 bulan..

owh ye.. selingan.. for soulmate's bday dis coming thursday, i bought him a man utd jersey from United Direct. unbelievable.. skjp je dh smp.. hr sbtu lps, dsebabkan bj tu ada return policy within certain days, i had to give soulmate hadiah nye lebih awal. (daymn.. spoil d surprise le kan?) mslhnye, tkut baju salah size, (ye, soulmate nye weight mmg haywire.. org lain preggy, org lain yg mbesar bgai johan..) tu psl kena soh dia try jugak supaya smpat return blk klu2 silap. tp lega la.. bj nye size yg tepat dan he likes d 'rooney 10' kt blkg jersey tu! lucky! cz i ws a bit confused.. nk letak nama dia ke, nama rooney.. rupanya, dia mmg tak nak letak nama dia! and tanpa berlengah lg, soulmate telah merasmikan jersey tu whn we went 2 mv dat day! sungguh bbangga!

speaking of MV, anyway, dat ws d 1st time i went 2 d mall smnjak preggy.. slama ni asik kelembikkan, tak sanggup gi mana2 pn.. nk beli brg rumah kt giant pn soulmate kena gi sorg sbb i cant stand d smell kt giant tu. ada food court, so bau campuran suma mknn tu mmg mengundang nausea.. bila dpt gi MV mcm org normal, (malahan mkn di food junction lg tu!!! hebat nye!) terus jd sedikit frenzy.. since i've been promising myself utk beli comfy shoes, bpusing le kami di skitar MV cr kasut ibu mengandung.. tp suma rupa aunty2, jd akhirnya tringat nk nengok Ipanema.. and yes! ive found myself a good 2pairs of flops yg sgt2 selesa n cute! (yes peeps, your eyes didnt fool u, 2 pairs.. punya la hampeh.. terus beli dua pasal takut susah nk kuar lg!) ok la.. i've 2gv my crdt 2 my twin who suggested it. sbb pnah post kt FB abt me wanting 2 find a gud pair of shoes 4 preggy mom. ramai yg suggest mcm2 jenis.. bt Ipanema won n i heart gisele bunchen 4coming up with Ipanema.. she might hv other target 'audience' 4 her products, but preggy mom shld get it as well!

n kejayaan lain adalah mcari seluar jerut di jusco. maklumla, seluar jeans dh tak boleh dipakai.. seluar yg ada ni smakin mduga keselesaan perut.. jd, prlu cr seluar yg sesuai.. since i won myself a jusco voucher 4winning some bowling tournament kt ofc, jd nye dpt le beli seluar tanpa bayar! yippie! nnt nk pki g ofc sbb kain bj kurung dh takle kancing.. setakat ni cuma zip saja. sungguh berani kn? kalo le tpijak ke, ttarik ke, pstu keaiban blaku, mmg bhenti keja terus!

IM PREGGY!!

yes, yes.. i am.. a cute bump is already emerging. and soulmate has already given me a new nickname 'buncit'.. i dont really want 2 argue with his choice of nickname cz its somewht true.. i do look buncit.. *sigh! im currently in my second month of my pregnancy n do'g not so great bcz of d morning sickness.. but truth is, who ever came up with d term 'morning' sickness is definitely a liar! its not only in d morning. mine lasts d entire day.. at least now i managed 2control it a bit thru some magical thing called medicine. but kalo lewat sket makan ubat, alamatnye, haru le..

some frens been ask'g hw i found out.. well, d same way everyone else found out, of course! saya telah mencuri2 mbeli preggy kit ms soulmate tunggu di luar kedai.. since i had a false alarm before, i didnt really expect so much dis time around. but i needed confirmation so, i jz need 2check. n hence, bile soulmate pegi keja, saya telah buat test dan sesungguhnye, Allah je tau terkujat nye saya.. dh le soulmate keja! kalo dia ada, ble gak tkejut sama2.. and then came the panicky bit.. like wht do i do n such.. mmndgkn bcdg nk nengok muka soulmate ms bgtau dh preggy, jd tak mau le terjerit2 excited ckp dlm fon kt dia ms tu.. tpksa tunggu esok pg.. tp sama juga.. esok pg pn tak dpt tgk muka soulmate ms dia tau.. jd, msih tak dpt mengetahui apakah reaksi sbnr soulmate.. pg tu i told my mom first (i mean first aftr soulmate), n tak sampai seminit kmudian, my sis called nk reconfirm d news. dan bmula la mcm2 plan tlebih excited ahli keluarga kami.. cheh! then g check kt clinic jz 2confirm, (it ws already 5weeks) n amik my ubat2an.

first few weeks after tau tu, takde pn alah. makan mencanak2.. asik lapar je keja nye.. sempat gi bukit merah lg ngn my family. start week after that, smp skrg ni, aduyai.. alah je hari2.. mkn je muntah.. i knew my mom cried one day whn i t'muntah kt dlm bilik air. ingtkn takde org tau i dlm tu, skali ada org tlg gosok2 blkg.. dgr bunyi 'srott.. srettt.. srott.. srett..' skali mak tsayang tumpang sedih nengok anaknye yg kurus keding (yep, tp buncit) ini tak le mkn tnpa muntah blk.. adoyai.. bsalah sungguh! tp i cover line pe.. kalo muntah bkn jenis 'uwek! uwek!' yg kuat tu.. jenis senyap je.. ble? tp insyaALLAH.. i think, in a cple of weeks time, dh tak alah lg mgkn.. AMINNNNNN!!

owh ya, please dont ask me nk anak apa.. ada a fren, in Iran. kept on insisting i shld say i suka anak apa.. ada ke patut? dh ckp tak kesah, dia nk soh jugak bg preference.. adoyai.. susah tol.. and also to everyone's disappointment (ke 2 my own?) i am not carrying twins! at least ysterday ms scan, tak nmpk ada dua.. lg pn kecik lg! mana nk nmpk.. my fren, d newlywed ned (dan bkn dia saja) is curious abt d outcome of twin kawen twin.. sudah dibilang, kturunan ku kembar bselang-seli.. datuk saya kembar, anak nye tiada kembar, cucunye (saya dan cousin2) bderet kembar.. tp, kalo ada nk tolong doa, meh la.. ehehe!

corny isnt it? i mean d fact dat it ws a week ago n i made it sound as if its some 'bsuka-ria holiday' trip, whn in truth its far frm it, bt more of a work / business trip. =)

neway, im gonna yack abt my geneva trip. ya, go on n yawn! its boring. bt s much s i hate d fact dat i had 2work whn i ws thr, bt im glad dat i hd d chance 2step my foot in anothr country without hvg 2pay 4it. ehehe! so, as @now, d continent ive never been to is d one across d pacific ocean (considering dat d nx meeting in 2011 is go'g 2b in mexico, lets make a wish! *hint! hint!) n africa.. hmm.. eh.. apa da?? berangan byk sgt!

ok, it ws n 8days trip including trvlg time. basically it ws an all day meeting 4 4days straight. we (around 30of us) arrived on monday morning n hd a chance 4a city tour aftr we checked in 2 our hotel. its geneva, not much 2c though. d famous Jet d' Eau wsnt workg (yep, they'l close it whn temperature's below 2deg), n d flower clock ws rite @d road side. othr than d spooky (but gorgeous) building structures, d only consolation is d fact dat i got 2go n see d one plc ive longed 2work @, d UN's building..

overjoyed me 2hv finally reached here. i wish my ofc is inside d building, somewhr.. i dont even mind if its a small cubicle.. *sigh!

then, days after dat ws spent coming in n out of meetings! no more fun! bt gud thg abt it ws dat i got 2meet those ppl who ive been contactg with bt hv never met in person b4. since i do all d liaising, i ws glad 2finally got a chance 2meet d real person ive been talkg on d phone with n emailing 4some gud laugh with.. n @times i do felt some weird feeling of b'g rejected by some stoopyd ppl who judge u 4b'g Asian n Muslim specifically. i thought such Asian / Muslim discrimination ws jz a misconception. since im wear'g head scarf, n our grp r somewht 'colored' ppl, we did experience minor 'mistreatment' @d airport during custom checks n i also felt some discomforting feeling of b'g ignored by a few ppl who i also had a chance 2liaise with b4 (in frenly manner), only they turned out 'cold' in person. so uncanny!

switzerland is famous 4 their watches, cuckoo clock, swiss knife n non other than, choc! during 1 of those days, we got a chance 2go n visit a choc factory nearby our hotel. whn we reached thr, we thought they were lying. i mean, it ws more of a cafe, doesnt look like a factory literally.. we almost left d cafe whn some1 invited us 2d back of d cafe n it reli ws a choc factory.. not d willy-wonka-like choc factory though.. it ws only a small one, bt 4some1 who dont like choc, yours truly ws a bit too happy 2go in! clad in an outrageous look'g outfit they gave us 4'protection', it finally made sense 2us dat d plastic poncho-like gear ws 4those who went extra excited tasting d chocs dat they didnt realize it ws dripping 2 their shirt!

i, myself couldnt believe dat i looked dis happy 4some1 who dont like choc.. d cup im holdg ws a creamy liquid choc dat some ppl without realizing smeared their factory gear with while tasting it.. hillarious adult behaviour

i ws suppose 2accompany my boss 2a meeting on saturday. we tried to get a late evening flight, (saturday) bt thr ws no business class seat available (definitely NOT for me). so we cld only get a flight 2 kl on sunday. d rest of d group went back on saturday morning itself. by then, i ws alredi miss'g home (read : soulmate. ehehe! benornye, ms nk boarding lg dh rindu!) whn we found out on friday tht d saturday morning meeting ws 2b held aftr d friday event, rasa nk hentak2 kaki je.. nk tukar flight mmg tak dpt la. dh mmg ada event pn kt geneva, flight out mmg full saje. nk msuk waiting list pn tak le. bilik pn dh byr utk sbtu mlm, nk tak nak.,tetap le kena stay smp ahad. jd nye, apakah aktiviti yg patut? ye betul!! bersuka ria mcm holiday le! wht's good is dat, bile dok kt hotel in geneva, kite dpt a pass yg entitle kite utk free usage of public transport in d city.

since using public transport is so very convenient kt geneva, sgt le sesuai nk bjln! kalo la kt msia ni pub transport tip top cm kt situ, confirm la traffic jem tu tak de dlm kamus hidup rkyat msia! its a living proof weh! kt busstop dorg siap ada screen, kite ble tau lg brp minit bas nk smp. ye la, mcm kt komuter station kite, tp biasanye, kt komuter station kite tu dh set cmtu, konon lg 2minit komuter smp, siap blinking lg, tp komuter nye tak nmpk bayang pn.. kt geneva, mcm ada link lak bas ngn screen bus stop. its as if mcm dorg ada device yg ble detect whr's d bus n @wht time they r reachng n it reli is on time! i tried d train juga. frm airport 2 geneva city then jln kaki blk hotel. it ws early winter, bjalan is advisable.. bpeluh pn tak sempat. kt msia pns terik, mati hidup smula org xnk jln kaki! lain la kt kem herba, byk pokok, tepi sungai, nyaman.. (ececeh! promote kem in-law lak!) in fact, org nk g airport, naik bas n naik train pn mmg sgt2 convenient. its only like 10-15mins away frm city centre. airport kite nun kt hujung dunia. kire kalo tourist smp KLia dorg msti tertipu sbb ingt dorg dh smp KL. pdhal, KL jauh lg.. ehehehe!

wow! i seriusly am very much neglecting dis arena of blog-g. not dat i dont wanna rite, i jz hv 2hv ample time 2blog. neway.. ive been a bee dis past few weeks (shall i say month?), since after raya 2b exact.

i initially didnt realize dat i ws on d perimeter of endless workloads until i checked my calendar 2book my flight 2singapore 4a meeting. of course i knw dat i ws suppose 2go 2singapore b4 raya, only then i didnt realize dat it ws so soon aftr my raya break. n thr ws a dinner event i hd 2organise 4a regional committee dat ws hvg a meetg here in KL, since it ws somewht n international (regional) event, d minister obviously hv 2make an appearance. it ws hectic, cnsiderg i dont hv a staff undr me, i hd 2manage on my own. hence, i went 2singapore a week b4 d dinner, bt wishg dat i ws back @d ofc 2sort all d invitations, n mentally do'g all d check lists. nerve wrecking! it went thru smoothly bt i wish dat i had time 2breathe. d same week i ws scheduled 2go 2singapore, my sis in-law, k. Busrah ws admitted 2hosp 4 an operation. i ws hoping dat i cld visit her more than once, bt freak'g workloads didnt permit me 2even go back on time. hated it!

somewhr along d way, i alwiz said dat whn all d bosses hv gone 2 geneva, i'll hv time 4myself. cnsiderg dat i hd 2work even on weekends, i ws somewht lookg 4wd 2november whn d geneva event starts. bt a few days aftr d dinner event, i ws strucked numb whn i ws told dat i hv 2also go 2geneva. dpt g singapore company hntr pn dh ckup bgus. bt geneva? walauwei!! dat ws very last minute cz d arrangements 4 it ws done since end of september. altho i alwiz joked w d bosses abt me go'g with them, bt whn it ws final, i ws a bit apprehensive. n 2leave soulmate 4 8days seems somewht unnatural 4me. i ws not worried abt him, he is sure 2manage on hs own; it ws more myself dat i ws worried of! ngeeehee! AMINNNNN) dat she jz dont care with d fact dat she hs been celebr8ng her bdays without bday cake 4 d 4th consecutive years! Its very very nerve wrecking! My hp and my email is giving me a hard time today! Of all days.. today.. whn im gonna be only half day @work, my precious email turns as nasty as my hp! Sweet! I work through emails.. now dat it just refuses to attach a file which ive to send today cz its d last day for me b4 my raya leave; I felt like slamming dis pc very hard n kick it in its shin if it exists!

Anyway.. I am gonna be taking more than a week long holiday for raya starting today afternoon.. im currently eyeing d clock, cz im go’g back in abt half n hour.. I need to clean d r'oof 'first, clear d fridge cz we r go’g balik kampung.. we (soulmate n I) actually did it d other day.. I hd to cook all d veggies so it wont rot in d fridge. D simplest way 2do so is by cooking tom yam, stuff all d veggies in it! Convenient eh? And in also went all d fishballs n our favourite mushrooms..alamak.. lapar la pulak teringat.. first thing im gonna do went i reach home is to mop d floor (my kitchen stinks!), send some stuffs to d laundry n pack for my balik kampung trip. dis year im go'g back 2my kampung in kedah. soulmate decides 4us, he said cz its not easy 4him 2get a long raya holiday. he thinks next year n d years n years aftr, he'll get only a short raya leave, so we might as well go back 2my kampung dis year cz in d next years 2come, he wont expect us 2do so.. well.. im not complaining.. he's driving neway! so, 2day we'll be buka posa-ing @my inlaws again n will drive back to my parents afterwards. 2moro after subuh, we'll go balik kampung.. woohoo!!

neway, im suppose to post d pics of my buka posa with d gals.. (im sorry dal! it took me a few days 2do so.. sungguh bz).. i ws planning 2post d 'then' n 'now' photos of us. bt i cldnt find d photos whn we were in hi-skool (slmt ko dal n ros.. korg yg tak nak sgt akoo letak kan? nnt akoo cari gak..) so, here's d one we took last monday.. we had our 'gath' - partners included, except for shy's - at Restoran Rebung Chef Ismail, Bangsar. (i chosed dis place cz of d food.. i alwiz bring visitors to dis restaurant cz they can taste all d Malaysian kampung delicacies thr. sedap woo..)

im not in my greatest mood.. my best pal @d ofc (k.Ina) is not around. im used 2share gossips with her. n i blurted most of d stuffs i want 2 @her. well, she took an early raya leave cz her maid went back 2indo 4raya. so, i need 2wait anothr 2weeks or so b4 i can share more stories with her.. n im not sure whther by dat time i can still rmbr wht i wanna 2tell her 2day.

neway, my hp is giving me a very hard time.. of course i've been a bit unfaithful, been eyeing 4 d gorgeous-n-burn'g-my-salary N97. bt dat ws it.. i didnt say im buy'g it. im jz looking 4some potential prospects.. bt my 4-5yr old hp went merajuk all d way! it kept on beeping, ask'g me 2remove d memory card 4no reason. n dis morning it went kaput all by itself! i didnt turned off my hp cz soulmate drove 2work last nite; im supposed 2get a call frm him so i can unlock d door whn he got home. bt u knw wht happen dis morning @5++ am? i ws still asleep.. then i ws awaken by a very soft knocking sound on d front door.. dats so very not me! cz im so not a light sleeper! tido mati - dats me! dh la i ws in my bedroom. i grabbed my hp, n ws expecting it 2shw me d time. bt turns out its alredi turned off! i thought i must've been dreaming. then i heard d soft knocking again. i immediately got up, went infront n opened d door n thr it ws! my soulmate, sitting on a chair waiting 4me 2open d door! kesian soulmate!!!! i ws apologizing 2him 4like hundreds of times! he ws quite surprised 2see me cz he thought i cldnt hear him knocking d door. he did it softly cz he didnt want 2wake up d neighbours. he ws planning 2jz wait outside till i wake up (darling tak soulmate ku? sungguh baik hati) cz he ws so sure i cldnt hear him.. (ye la.. nama pn soulmate.. sudah dia kenal bini nye yg tido mati ini) dh le mamai gile pepagi tu, bt it ws so funny la jugak! n soulmate ble ckp 'comel nye cik boddah bgn pg..' itu le penangan nye laki yg keja malam and jarang dpt tgk muka bini bgn pagi.. muka selenge pn dia kata cumel! ehehehe! neway.. mi telefono! aduyai.. why lar?? sian tau soulmate dok kt luar pintu tunggu bini nye.. if u didnt turned off by urself, soulmate cld've reached me whn he tried call'g 2inform dat he's on his way back.

n guess wht else my hp did? it magically sent MMS to peeps in my contacts.. i dunno wht kinda MMS, it jz did it by itself. ystrday morning, whn i turned on my hp, i left it on d dresser. then i heard a soft beeping n i went 2check on it.. a text telling me dat d MMS i ws sending failed bcz of an invalid contact. i checked d MMS report, turns out I've been send'g MMS 2almost 10ppl, including my boss, the GM! it ws all on pending status n later whn i checked it back, some failed. i didnt bother 2check wht hpen with d MMS I sent 2my GM. then dis morning, thanks 2my hp, d GM called me n asked me, wht ws d MMS i've been tryg 2send him cz he cant open it. hw cool ws dat?! i mean, of hundreds numbers in my contacts, why on earth dat u (my hp) chosed my boss???? dat ws so embarassing. i hd 2explain 2him dat my hp went a bit crazy n he said its almost time i get a new hp! (if my salary is even a quarter of his, im sure as hell will b buy'g a new hp). my darling hp.. if u continue 2behave like dat, im sure m gonna swap u with a stupid pay phone if i hv to!

its been a while eh.. last week i did d most craziest thg ever! b4 dat, our K.Long is do'g great. got 2check up on her last week. soulmate n i reached d hospital just in time; she ws on her way 2get back 2her room. n she ws alredi walking 2d toilet! so strong dat chica! i mean, whn i had my operation, i think i ws bedridden 4like forever! of course i ws force 2'take a shower' d day aftr my operation. (by say'g 'taking a shower' it actually means washed my body with a damp cloth soaked in a soapy water). bt d nurses had 2somewht carry me 2d bathroom. n i used potty 2 *u-knw-wht*. all in all, its such a speedy recovery 4K.Long. sungguh gagah! u go gurl!

neway, aftr visited K.Long, soulmate n i decided 2go find his bj melayu.. it ws aftr asar, on friday. ya ALLAH! sengalnye jalan kt KL on Fridays! soulmate dh berkali2 soh kuar awal. bt i said wait until aftr asar. cz it'l b easier like dat, i dont want 2hv 2rush 2find a musolla in jln TAR's area. So i tot it'll be more practical 2solat dulu, then we go la.. so much for practicality! we were stranded in d traffic 4nearly 2hours! tp betul la kan? at least dh solat, tak yah pikir dah.. so, whn we reached d area, it ws alredi around 7pm. i tot we shld find a shop 2buy some drinks, gi maghrib kt medan mara, then hv our meals aftr maghrib whn ppl hs alredi gone, then go hunt 4his bj melayu. so, we walked n found a stall 2buy our drinks n as we headed 2wards pertama, we found a restaurant with vacant tables! soulmate said somethg like 'mesti kedai ni tak sedap, pasal tu takde org kan?' ehehee! tp, dh ada tu sambar je la kan? so, we switched plan, buka dulu, then solat. d food? tak yah la bg harapan tinggi sangat.. yg pntg, dpt gak buka posa.. ehehe!

so, we went frm i shop 2anothr lookg 4soulmate's bj melayu. n my eyes were at d same time eyeing on tudung 2match my bj kurung. u think its easy 2find bj melayu? thr were so many! n soulmate ni ble tahan jg permintaannye. memula tu i cm bsemangat la tolong cari kan. from one kedai to one kedai.. bygkan la, dh la menapak dari medan mara smp wisma yakin. yg kt tepi2 jln tu soulmate cuma tgk without much interest.. he said suma jenis kain panas.. smp wisma yakin, went frm rack 2 rack.. @some point of time, i jz gave d shop owner my bj kurung n ask her 2find a matchg bj melayu! tak larat dh! ehehe! n she found one! although i ws in love with another bj melayu, bt d one i like tu sebijik cm kaler bj melayu soulmate last year. since soulmate like d one which of course matched my bj; obviously we wont let go of it la kan? so yeay! berjaya la kami mencari bj soulmate siap dgn sampin nye sekali akhirnye.. wht a relief! then we tried finding me a tudung n a kopiah 4soulmate, bt cldnt find one. we managed 2grab a cheap tikar buluh 4d roof instead.. ehehe.. i think we got home around 10pm. sungguh letih!

d next day, we planned 2buka posa @my in-laws. we made a crazy decision 2go 2jln TAR again 4d final time 2find stuffs we cldnt find d night b4. sungguh mencabar! bt i managed 2get d matchg tudung bt no kopiah 4soulmate. too many ppl! tak sanggup! i ws sweating like a pig. i think i almost drenched d mask i ws wearing! d heat! d ppl! d whteva! tobat la! then we went 2check out k.Long again; who ws so so do'g great; before heading 2my in-laws' plc. soulmate had 2work dat night so i hd 2drive back 2d roof so soulmate can hv a quick nap (not dat he did!). so crazy la d 2of us! ada ka p jln TAR time friday n weekend ms bulan posa? sungguh cari nahas! i think cm dh nk lemas kt lautan org tu! tak mungkin la nk buat lg thn depan!

neway, nx week im going 2a buka posa cum gath with d 6jhnm.. ehehe! they r my best buddies whn i ws in hi-skool. well, ive 2sets of frenz during hi-skool. 1@d hostel ~4S91614~ n anothr 1 @skool ~d 6jhnm~. still cant get a date 4buka posa with 4S, bt managed 2book all 6of 6jhnm (with partners) 2meet up dis monday. its been a while since we last met. so am very very excited 2meet them! im gonna post some pics of it insyaALLAH. ive chosen d best plc 2go 2, cz i love d restaurant so much. im not gonna reveal it jz yet, bt will sure post some pics on it s well! yeay! tak sabar! neway, only 10days left 2posa.. tak sangka kan? nk raya dh! like nx week! yeay!

the time whn i lost my tongue

last night soulmate asked me to call his (mine s well) cousin; K.Long; who's gonna undergo a bypass operation. he's alwiz does dat. whn i say i wanna txt some1, he'll tell me 2call instead. d thg is, im not a 'call' person. im a 'txt' person. cz it'll b awkward whn u call some1, not 2knw wht 2say n hw 2end d conversation. dats why i prefer txt'g. bt i somehw didnt even knw wht 2txt. cz i dont reli knw hw do i wish some1 who's go'g 4n operation.

then i rmbred d time whn i lost my tongue whn my dad went 4his heart surgery 2rplace his decalcified valve. i told soulmate d story, wish'g he'd understand. n im sharing with u guys s well. it ws whn i ws in uni do'g my degree. i jz went back 2sabah cz i ws involved with d new student intake's registration week. n dat registration week hs jz ended n i ws in d middle of do'g my own registration of subjects n get'g my exam results, etc. i received a call frm my twin, tell'g me dat my dad's scheduled 4immediate operation (he went 4his regular check up n ws advised by his doc). it ws somewht a major operation, n we knw our dad, he is very very scared of needles, let alone 2go 4a major operation. so we cried cz we knw hw scared he ws, bt my twin did tell me he tried 2sound cheerful.

d morn'g of his operation, i got a call aftr subuh frm him. we didnt reli hv a conversation. he managed 2say 'hello' n i did too. n then he started cry'g. i cldnt help it, bt i cried like a baby. then i said 'abah jgn nangis, suma ok nanti tu insyaALLAH' only dat it came out as 'wahhaw wuhuuwa hhawwuu laahh' cz i ws cry'g! hw soothing ws dat? stupid me! then both of us jz fell silent. sob'g a bit. bt nothg came out aftr dat. dat ws it. i juz didnt knw wht 2say. i wsnt sure any efforts of consoling him wld make any difference. i didnt try 2make any vain attempts anymore. n then my mom said bye on his behalf. recalling abt it brings a pang of sadness in me. cz we were very afraid. it didnt take long for me 2decide 2catch d nxt plane back 2KL. i followed my guts, discussed with my sisters, not even tell'g my mom cz we knw mom will object my decision to come back cz it costs a lot. i didnt get 2meet him d day of his operation. whn i reached KL he ws alredi been safely brought 2CCU n it ws alredi aftr visitng hour.

d nx morning, i went 2IJN n whn i hugged my mom, she initially didnt realize dat it ws me not my twin. only whn she saw thr were 2of us dat she realized i came back. of course she loved d surprise n we cried our happy cries. then she suggested we went in 2gether 2visit my dad who ws alredi awake; so he'll knw dat i came back. mom hd alredi warned us not 2make him cry cz he ws still weak. bt hw can i stop him? cz whn i got in d CCU, he saw me n said 'angah, awak balik??' n in n instant his tears were flowing. well, its somewht normal 4yours truly 2start cry'g as well. aftr i gave him a hug, n told him 2rest my twin n i went out. all in all, it ws a bittersweet experience 4our family. i think it somehw brought us even closer together. cz we've been thr, on d verge of losing some1 so important. dad ws our provider. mom quit her job whn i ws in hi-skool. we hv never seen d delicate side of our dad. dad never calls us, it ws mom who'll make a call. bt we knw he'll b right by mom's side cz he'll b d one ask'g questions. (we hear him frm d backgrounds) bt we alwiz knw he cares for us. dats why hw awful we treat him, in d end, we'll still hug him whn we see him. cz we love him dearly, n mom too.. he's like our weakness.. mine especially.. dats why dis happened :

im so twisted! last saturday, soulmate n i ws deliberating on whr 2go 2survey our baju raya.. i've been hv'g dis tot of go'g 2check out d gedung al habshee in bangi. i've been read'g abt it in some magazines, tot i cld find somethg 4me thr. bt @d last second, soulmate swirved d car 2wards s.alam n we ended up go'g 2pkns instead. we were thr on saturday at arnd 3pm+. not d best timing 2go thr! trfc ws a bit slow once u reached d park'g entrance. soulmate suggestd dat we parked outside, across d mall. bt b'g d paranoid me, i said no cz it looked like its gonna rain. (s if i dont hv an umbrella in d car!) soulmate ws a bit negative, say'g we cld neva locate a vacant car park. i ws pretty sure he ws sumwht annoyed with my stupidity in making sure we tried 2search 4a parking lot inside. aftr hundreds of selawat (ok, exaggeration! not like hundreds.. bt a lot) we found a parkg lot aftr not even one round of 'tawaf'! n aftr successfully wear'g d mask dat i luckily carried in my bag, i got out of d car n immediately saw d sale signs on one of d boutiques on d 1st floor of dat building. i ws hoping i cld somehw locate it once i got inside.

so, whn we got in, gosh! d chaos! so many stalls thr on d ground floor. i think dats d first time i ever went 2pkns in bulan puasa. it ws an experience. most of d stalls are selling d same looking clothings. d same pattern of baju raya frm one end 2d othr. im sure as hell, dis years' baju raya trend will b d kurung with puff sleeves! its like massive! all over! gosh! so wishing we wont bump in2 d exact same design+pattern baju worn by some othr person @any plc @all! n aftr we've finished lookg @one of d rows of stalls, (why check out all whn its all d same?) i almost said 'lets go home'. bt considering d fact dat we've only been thr 4merely 15minutes, i'll risk a glare of illogical choice frm soulmate if i said so (bt i doubt it, cz soulmate is alwiz a darling..) nehw, soulmate said he wanted 2tapau d kyros kebab (biasa la nafsu posa neh), so we got 2d 1st floor n bought one. n i lured him 2carry on window shop'g for a bit n then i found d boutique dat i saw frm d park'g lot. (i seriusly 4got d name.. some batik thingy)

n then, its all history. u guys.. i got myself a baju raya! not even waiting 4 a raise, d nonsensical me bought a baju raya! it must hv been bcz i only spent so little on my credit card last month, n i hv some extra money, dat i made d preposterous decision on buying d baju kurung! teruk kan? tak kuat iman betul! n sbb yg lgsung tidak boleh menyangkal keinginan utk mbeli baju itu adlh kerna ianya size SS! yeay!!!!!! ingt senang ke nk jumpe bj size tu? its also d 1st time im buy'g a ready made baju kurung. cz its ever so difficult 2find one of my size. bt its reli not get'g any cheaper 2send a decent kain 2d tailor nowadays.. i used 2buy cheap 4metres kain (sometimes d RM9 per metre) n yet 2make a baju kurung somehw costs arnd RM50 - 70! tu belum buat yg berfesyen tu! crazy! dats why i tot of buy'g a ready made frm Casa in subang parade. bt its way too expensive la. d one i found kt pkns is much much cheaper.. tak sampai RM130! n no, i tak amik yg jenis puff sleeves.. not gonna go with d trend.. im opt'g 4simplicity.. cecewah! neway, soulmate n i then went arnd 2find a matchg bj melayu 4him.. bt cldnt find one.. in his case, d L size is selling like murtabak in bazaar ramadhan! so, we plan 2find one he's been eyeing 4 @wisma 'confident'. hopefully, we'll find one yg sedondon or so.. cecewah (lagi skali).. semoga saya mpunyai kekuatan dan kesabaran utk menempuh KL di wktu2 puasa ini.. haru.. haru.. demi soulmate, saya turutkan..

i dont knw wht 2post abt 2day.. got no idea wht 2say.. n honestly, i reli love 2see d ikea's meatball platter photo plastered on my blog, hence im a bit reluctant 2post a new topic.

nway.. currently, ive got my hands tight up on FB. since im still new thr, thr's so many thgs 2do. im uploading my wedding photo on FB @d time im writing dis. n i wish i dont get so many notifications cz it made me eager 2check up on it. i thing im gonna turn off all notifications. @least im not gonna b so obsessed on updating! *sigh!* poor old me.. so so outdated.. i mean, look @my frenster a/c. i cant rmbr d last time i logged in it. i hope dats not gonna happen w my blog though! unless d ofc starts block'g blogspot, im so gonna die! cz i only go online @d ofc. very seldom @home (parents' dat is) cz of d (very) slow connection.

neway, we hv 2send in our raya leave application soon. d company im workg with is very generous in terms of dat.. we get 30days annual leave per yr. due 2 d fact dat im d ~~exec cum clerk cum ofcboy~~ only staff in my unit, i hardly apply 4 a leave. dats why i got d green light whn i applied a month (19days recorded cz a month is actually inclusive of weekends n public holidays) leave 4my wedding. dis year, d company is giving an extra compassionate holiday on d 4th of raya. im sure s hell most of d staffs will b away 4d whole week. (count me in!) i guess im gonna hv 2 hv a discussion with soulmate.. hopefully he'll also hv a long raya holiday.. (which i doubt). hmm.. i dont hv baju raya dis year.. dunno y i didnt bother. bt if i get a raise, i think im gonna search 4 one. cz its d 1st yr beraya with soulmate. (>.<) yeay...!

When we were a child, still in skool; we reli love skool holidays.. cz we can finally get a break frm get’g scold by d ~~horrible Mrs Narayanan~~ teacher and all d hectic learning process.. I hated skool whn it comes 2hv 2excel in studies. It ws so much pressure! N I reli reli hate (notice d present tense im using?) maths! Bt I loved it especially cz of d darling frenz n all d stuffs we can do aftr skool, d curricular activities, d bump in2 some1 we admire, d lepak time @ ~~amcorp mall~~ d skool canteen n such.. neway, all in all, we (read : i) jz love some time off frm all d studyg (not dat I did study). D skool break ws wht we embrace with open arms, smiling frm ear 2 ear, so so welcomed!

Nw, 10yrs aftr skool; whn d skool break finally arrives, I cant help but 2love it again. Not dat I can hv a break as well, (im sure if I ws a teacher, im d happiest person in d whole world 4d holiday!) bt I love it whn I can get ready 2work, jz a little extra late than usual. I don’t hv 2rush in d morning, I can reli take my own sweet time, do my chores in d morning, take a shower @nearly 6.30am, do d laundry, run d car engine extra long b4 driving off, reach sunway toll without even an ounce of blood raising in temperature (due 2 d normally long queues @d ~~not so~~ Smart Tag). N no matter hw late I got out of d ‘roof’, I’ll still b d top 30 staff who parks @d ofc compound (my ofc hs dis park’g system, we can park @d ofc compound provided dat we r d listed employees who were registered @d nearby (paid) park’g lot, d guard’ll give us dis numbered pass 2b displayed on d dashboard. So, dats why I knw I’m still d top 30).

I realize 1thg tho’, during skool holidays, I think myb up 2 65% of usual traffic is just gone! Seriusly! I don’t knw whr all of them went, bt its jz not thr nemore. I mean, its sunway toll 4god’s sake! Its like d worst toll plaza I cld think of in terms of traffic flow. 4normal workg days, I cld swear im 95% risking a freaking bad dent on my car. N d lady drivers (as if im not!).. gosh!! They jz don’t knw whr they’re heading. They r like everywhr! A minute they signalled left, yet they r turn’g their steering wheels 2d right in a very lady-like manner! N d road bullying men drivers; they r some snob who refuse 2let u switch lane no matter hw bright ur signal lite is blinking, n kept on ramming their engine as if they r driving a lamb (im talking abt Lamborghini), bt in reality they r actually driving a heavily modified kancil! Duhh!!! I mean, why is it dat most road bullies drive small cars? I mean, didn’t they realize dat they r actually vulnerable? I think dats why they turn nasty! They r jz insecure, dats why they wanna look tough a bit!

Ok, whtever. my point is, I love skool holidays; even tho' im no longer a skool student; cz thr’s less morning traffic. Im not sure dat d students drive 2skool bt d traffic reli magically eases during skool holidays. I wish I cld pinpoint d reason 4 dis blissful serenity on d road, (I thought parents sendg their children 2skool causes d traffic, bt I rmbred dat I hardly see skool students while I ws caught in traffic) bt I seriusly don’t knw. Nehw, im gonna cherish another 3days left of dis so short skool holiday (sigh!) n m gonna take my own sweet time n enjoy my hassle-free traffic week..

hmm.. hv done my work.. am so look'g 4ward 2yack abt nothing here.. i took a day leave on friday, soulmate suggested it cz friday is his offday. aftr he got back frm prayer, we went 2mv 4 a date.. hehe.. he suggested we go watch a movie, bt i wsnt up 2it. i didnt wear my mask, so it wsnt cmfortable. we had our seafood spag in cream sauce ~my fav!~ n we went window shopping 4my bday pressie!! yeay! (my bday is another month 2go, bt soulmate hs alredi told me wht he's buying, so we went 2hv a look @it.. ble tak cam gelabah je kan?) not so long aftr dat soulmate suggested we hv dessert @secret recipe, but it ws not dessert 4him, he grabbed kids' fish n chips platter while i hd my 1scoop ice cream. i dunno y soulmate always complains dat he's get'g 'heavy' whn he made all d eating choices himself, (which @times dropped my jaw 2d floor). n i dunno y he needs 2worry cz i like him with more 'meat' than b'g a skinny guy. @least he can easily carry me whn he needs 2 (especially whn my feet aches frm walking frm end 2 end of a shopping mall without buy'g anythg.. u see, whn we dont buy anythng, d feet hurts. bt whn we shop like thr's no 2moro, d feet neva complains.. weird huh?) neway, soulmate i love u n i love every bit of u, fat n all! so pls dont worry. n its fast'g month, myb u will lose some weight if u wish it hard..

since i cant think of d best title 4today's rambling, im using d same title i've used sometime back. cz thr's no specific topic im goin' 2yack abt 2day.. n nope, its not a continuation of d last post on d same title. i made up my mind dat everytime i cant come up with a title 4my post, im gonna use 'd mundane blabber (part ...)' as my title in d future.. so, bear with me readers.. (as if thr r any..) i've done my job 4d day.. no pending works except for filing (i reli need a clerk!im bad in dis 'arena') so, im gonna talk crap..

neway.. i ws blog hopping. i follow some blog cz its alwiz inspiring 2see hw ppl hs so much 2blog abt. like k.Mimi, soulmate's cousin (n mine technically) who post daily, not once, bt a cple of times a day.. i dont. my brain sumhow defies my ability in providing even an ounce of writing materials worth posting abt.. sumtimes i read her blog n thought 'why didnt i came up with dat?' n most of d times i felt dat she blogs abt d thing dat's so simple cz everythng she wrote is abt her n yet i cldn't think of anythg abt me dat i cld share of (shows hw boring my life is..)

n i also follow anonymously some blogs. not reli follow.. every once in a while, i'll check up on dat blog 2see wht dat fella is gonna write abt n laugh @it. ok, let me tell u sumthg abt it.. dis person ws my college-mate back in uni. most of ppl i knw hv problems with her. she's dis over dramatic girl who wants every1 2pay attention 2her. d sabahan wld describe it as 'mintak puji bah..' i ran in2 her blog while blog hop'g n i alwiz cringe in horror @wht she wrote abt in her blog. ok, not reli abt wht she wrote on d blog, its more of how she wrote it..

hv u ever felt like closing ur ears with ur hands, or turning ur face 2another direction in humiliation, or want 2jz cut d conversation short whn sum1 came up 2u n say somthg in english jz 4show'g off or 2get everybody's attention, only 2learn dat wht they say dont make any sense cz of d grammar mistakes? im alwiz tempted 2correct sum1 when they r using d wrong tenses. not dat im good, bt i believe dat one cn only learn whn they knw d correct way of speaking a sentence. they must've not been listen'g 2their teacher whn d teacher ws teachg them. thr's certain basic rule in english, which b'g basic, literally; means its suppose 2b common knwledge. like whn u use 'to' with a verb, d verb shld b in present tense. like 'to write', 'to read', 'to eat', 'to sleep'. and form'g a present continuous tense, u add '-ing' with d verb, like she's eating, im going, he's sleeping. (owh my god, now i sound like an english teacher.. mind me, i ws an english teacher) pls differentiate which noun 2use, is it plural or singular? 'they sale' not 'they sales'.. no, it's not 'its means..' d correct way is 'it means'.. i use to read d section in nst on 'mind your language'. its very helpful.

i've met so many ppl frm different countries since i work in d company im currently work'g with. of course @times i'll feel intimidated 2converse in english especially whn i knw they come frm european countries. and i also met some who dont even speak good english n dats anothr matter n its ok. cz they'll alwiz let me knw in advance n apologize bcz they'r not good in english. n i'll b comfortable with dat cz @least they'll admit it. n i'll tell them im as much incapable in conversing in english as they do n at times, even worse cz i cldnt find d right vocab 2use. bt i jz cant take it whn sum1 thinks dat she can show-off 2ppl by writing an email or post a blog in english whn all she's writing is a crap with so many grammar mistakes! i mean come on!

ok, i, for once write my blog in english. yes. bt no, im not showing off. im jz comfortable in do'g so. n if ever i thought dat i cant do so, i'll slot in a Malay word. bt honest 2 god, no, its not 4 showing off.. dis college-mate who i accidently bumped in2 is another story. cz i personally knw her, its jz weird read'g wht she wrote. we cld reli differentiate btwn a person who wanna learn using d language n person who's using it 4showing off(n fumbles at it). i reli applaud any1's effort in using english. seriusly.. they deserve a pat on their back 4hv'g d confidence of try'g 2improve themselves. aftrall, u can only b good in a foreign language by practicing. i hv one in my ofc, a guy, we call him 'En Mat tarbus'. he speaks english not for show'g off. he do it 2 learn. he'll drop by at my table 2read d nst n if he didnt knw a word, he'll ask me 4d definition. he laughs at himself 4not making a correct sentence but he'll try ever so convincingly n alwiz asks ppl on hw he shld reli correctly pronounce a word or say a sentence, cz he wants 2learn. nevermind d fact dat he is almost nearing d retirement age. i jz am very impressed with his efforts. n i'll champion every1 who wants 2practice. n whn i prctice, i wont mind it if any1 wld correct my tenses bcz its better 2knw my mistakes then continue making it, right?

i think thr's another person who also cant take it whn sum1 4no reason uses english while its better 4them 2write in malay 2avoid d humiliation; n dat is my twin, Meme. i alwiz thought Meme speaks better english. i didnt knw d tenses until i ws in hi-skool. Meme on d othr hand excel hers since primary skool. i went 2 hi-skool, cry'g d 1st day cz most of d students were using english. n i felt helpless cz Meme wsn't thr 2help me cz we went 2different skools. bt i tried everythg bcz i wanna make sure i'll survive in dat skool. n im thankful cz it made me who i am 2day. not dat im good, im far frm it. bt @least im comfortable enough 2use d language n i knw i wont mortify myself in say'g somthg i shldnt or write an invitation dat is hard 4ppl 2understand cz of some direct translation used (hint* hint*). n if i didnt knw a word, i'll admit it n look up in a dictionary 4dat word. its plain simple as dat. i jz wonder why sum ppl must b so arrogant. dont use d language jz 2look good infront of ppl while u definitely s*ck @it. cz in d end, u'll end up looking foolish n seriusly, u r humiliating urself with all d things u r writing/say'g.

Wow! i have neva seen anythg so impressive like d frontpage of nst.. since we cant curb d spread of d H1N1 virus, our brilliant govt decided dat d citizen shld b fined RM10k or dat poor H1N1 patient may also face up to 2years in jail 4spreading d virus.. now.. now.. is thr anyone of sound mind wld ever want 2purposely spread d virus 2every ppln?? it will b helpful if for once our govt wld not blame us, d citizen for d outbreak of dis virus. whn d citizen complaints, they said we went panic for no reason. whn it is forecast dat 20%of d ppln will contract H1N1, d citizen pays d price for 'spreading d virus'. i think every level of ppl hv voiced our concern abt d slow process in get'g treatment @hospitals nowadays, and ws it not us who wanted serius measures be taken in handling dis issue? if im not mistaken, d panic-stricken citizen were d ones who asked for preventive actions over and over again. n why r we 2b blamed n fined? seriusly, we appreciate it if 'rakyat didahulukan' b finally materialised..

the H1N1 scare

I am very very upset.. reli totally upset. and very frustrated as well. n @dis point of time, i reli am on d verge of cryg my heart out n sobbing intensely (consider'g im @d ofc, i dont intend 2create a commotion.)

my niece ~yana~ ws sick last week. i didnt knw abt it, until last friday aftr work, soulmate n i went 2a mamak stall nearby my ofc n met my elder sis' father in law (i call him 'papa djoe' @ 'atuk K' ~ 'papa djoe' cz my bro in law's name is djoe, 'atuk k' cz my niece calls him atuk k~) my sis is stay'g @her in-laws' hse just nearby my ofc. (her in-laws refuse 2let my sis+Djoe n yana 2move 2othr plc. yana is their 1st grandchild, she *n my sis!* hs been pampered so much by them! whn i ws not married, i use 2fetch yana every friday aftr work n we went back 2gether 2my parent's hse cz my sis' weekly routine is weekdays with in-laws, weekends with parents. since my sis+djoe r work'g in KL, its unpractical 4them 2drive back 2KJ jz 2fetch yana while i ws nearby. they will jz straight away go back 2my parents hse aftr work n i'll b fetchg their daughter n head back home).

neway, back 2d story i ws tryg 2tell, Papa Djoe told us dat yana has been sick since wednesday, high fever n cough. but she was already ok on Friday n he told us 2go check up on her. so soulmate n i dropped by @Papa Djoe's hse n met yana, she ws do'g ok. we were jz thr 4a short while. yana ws look'g a bit dizzy while watchg tom n jerry, every nw n then she answerd our questions, most of d time i talked with Awan Siti (Awan Siti is my sis' mother in law. funny ain't it? yana calls her grandparents Atuk K n Awan Siti.. hehehehe! some ppl might think she is d grandchild of dat singer who sings @d royal albert hall dat i despise so much!). Awan Siti told me dat yana's school has been closed till Wednesday (today) since half d school students r already get'g sick. yana ws wait'g 4my sis 2fetch her cz they were supposed 2go back 2my parent's hse. I didnt cz i ws scheduled 2hv a bowlg tournament d next day. so aftr dat, soulmate n i went back home.

On Sunday, aftr lunch, soulmate n i wantd 2go buy groceries. My mom called me. She said yana ws admitted 2a nearby hospital on Saturday night. they said somethg abt infections in her lungs n she ws still having slight fever. i ws so shocked n worried sick since ive been read'g abt all d news on d H1N1 patients' cause of death which ws pneumonia. dat ws d 1st thing dat struck my mind @dat time. then my mom said they r run'g tests on her - blood test n othr tests pertaining to it. Bt it ws weekend, they wont be expect'g 2get d result so soon since d lab will only b opened on weekdays. my mom kept on say'g 'benda tu' 2refer 2H1N1, she seems reluctant 2say d word, i guess she ws afraid it might be jinx or somethg. since the hospital dont knw 4sure, yana ws put on d suspected list of H1N1 n mom told me dat d sign @her door ws 'Limited Visitor' n anyone who wantd 2visit will b provided with mask 4precautionary measure. they also gave her tamiflu, n i told my mom tamiflu ws d antivirus 4 H1N1. she started 2get worried, thanx 2me! soulmate ws suggestg 4us 2visit since she ws admitted @a hospital near our plc but my mom hs already told me not 2go since my sis n yana didnt get much rest since she ws admitted cz d nurses kept on coming in d room 2get temperatures, do some tests n such. so i planned 2visit whn she returns home. i textd my sis jz 2check up on thngs, she said not 2visit. they were do'g fine.

On Monday i texted her again, she said yana's ok, no more fever, n d doc said dat she's got infection in d lungs n they r restg d whole day.

yesterday mom called, i ws in a meeting. i returned her call sometime later n she said she n my dad went 2visit them yesterday morning @d hospital. blood test result ws negative H1N1. whn i reached home aftr work, mom called again.. with bad news. my sis ws taking yana 4 a walk @d hospital whn d nurse told her dat she wsnt suppose 2get out of d room cz yana ws positive based on another test (phlegm) they did. wht got me very furious ws dat whn did they think ws d best time 2break d news 2her abt dat result? i mean, one instant u said its negative, whn we were be'g a normal human be'g since nothg ws wrong n we went out 2take a walk cz u didnt tell us anythg, u came up n said it ws actually positive? bt y didnt u warned earlier? hw come there were no more restrictions when my parents went 2visit yana? my mom told me d hospital no longer impose d-wear-mask rule dat morng they went. even whn my mom asked 4d room number, d nurse readily showed them which room n didnt say a word on mask wear'g. of course we assume everythg ws ok especially whn d blood test ws already negative! only later dat day did they say abt anothr result. its not dat i want 2alienate d patients, my worry is they (hospitals n ministry) dont take enough precaution from people spreading dis virus! around 8pm+ my mom called again, n another bad news, my sis caught a fever! i think my mom gets a degree of panic everytime after she talk 2me. bcz i kept on talkg abt d virus n she ws tryg 2b positive, dat it ws jz common fever not d worst case scenario. I on d othr hand ws still talkg abt its bad n all. im sorry.. im just paranoid. i alwiz think 4d worst, but still hopes 4d best. not dat i dont want 2b positive minded n all, i just hv 2b realisitic a bit. cz d truth is im reli worried abt dis pandemic!

i m so furious though.. when will we ever get d most honest report abt d situation? i think d hospitals r b'g too relax abt it. n not 2mention d government. i mean we r definitely entitle 4explanation! we dont need some stupid advise on if we cough/sneeze we were suppose 2actually cover our mouth with tissue. hello?? dat is like logic isnt it?? we need 2knw hw bad it is actually? thr r so many complaints already abt hw d government is handling d situation. read here and here. its pandemic, yet they say not 2worry. they'll keep us updated with the situation. my foot! MY family is affected here! if u r just giving us d figures of deaths and cases reported, dat is not keeping us updated with d situation! keeping us updated is providing enough information as 2wht shld we reli do (othr than wash hands n cover our mouth whn sneezing/coughing), is it reli bad alredi? which plc did they (d patients) went to cz we reli want 2avoid go'g thr! (ok, im be'g insensible, bt whtevr!) not some vague infos like, 'she ws positive, she recently went 2a supermarket.' ok, which supermarket??? can u b a bit more specific? thr r hundreds of supermarket in Klang Valley alone! i dont knw how they deliberated on dis : H1N1 vs economic slowdown. cz it seems they r lean'g more 2wards making sure pple dont get panic n then resulted in not go'g 2work n causing our economy 2b @risk. spread'g of d disease, get'g most of d population catch'g d virus is somewht more tolerable than our economy meltdown. wow! so clever!

now i knw hw 1malaysia is go'g 2work.. in fact we can actually achieve it even b4 d year ends! simply bcz @d rate of infection we r go'g, thr'l b only 1malaysian citizen left cz d rest of us r already H1N1 positive! go 1malaysia!

yep.. officially.. its d saddest day of my life.. miserably sad dat my fav futbol team on earth is leaving 2day.. yep.. Manchester United is leaving dis morning to Korea. pls, pls dont wait another 8-9years b4 return'g back here 2 Msia. cz it seems like ages! i mean, nearly a decade! dats like way too long! i hope they like Msia so much, they'll come back soon!

i read Nick Coppack's blog updat e 2day.. he's pack'g. saw d pics he posted.. so cool.. some ppl r so lucky! i envy them! n fans in Korea must b very anxious 4their arrival. neway, had our chance of meet'g them. i shld b thankful alredi. (m very pissed off however dat astro didnt air d 2nd match cz i didnt go!) think im gonna save some money so i can buy d new kit. Cant wait!!!! wish them save journey, may we hv a great season ahead of us (which i so so so so am looking 4ward 2!) n win d premiership again plus all d cups we cld!

O.M.G! O.M.G! O.M.G!!!!!!

AWESOME!! yes babes, it was awesome!!!!!!!! im so so so so so so excited! d Manchester United's Asia tour ws wht its worth! i cant wait 2post abt it 2day. yep, got onhold cz i took a long leave, Friday n Monday, so i had a long, marvellous weekend. n who would've tot dat Manchester United ws gonna play in Msia not once, but twice in one week?? i mean, dis is like OT alredi! (4those who dont knw, ~which i wonder y??~ *OT stands 4 Old Trafford - d theatre of dreams - Man Utd's stadium in UK, ok?). seriusly u guys.. dis is like once in a lifetime opportunity. i went 2d previous tour and they were like rushing here and there. It was a bit hush hush. u dont reli know whr they stayed and all (ok, @least, i didnt), it was pretty much exclusive tour. dis time around i felt dat dis tour is much more 'intimate'. u can c in d papers daily, d mobs of fans @d hotel, they cld get autographs by d poolside, d greetings frm d players themselves.. much more warmth dis time. i felt like they (d team) reli do appreciate us. i dunno, myb d last time, thr were so many 'superstars' in d team. becks, veron, 2 name a few. i mean they were pretty much restricted. not so dis time. k, lemme tell u my experience..

on friday morning, i got a text frm my twin, she told me she left her jersey @my mom's hse (she is renting sumwhr near her ofc). 'wht m i gonna wear 2watch MU?'. n i instantly tot, 'owh well.. here it goes again..' since i cant reply her (i 4got 2reload my prepaid access) i told soulmate dat i bet she is definitely going 2bu y herself a new jersey jz like wht she did 4d previous man utd tour. then soulmate n i went back 2his parents' cz we need 2get another training pass 4my cousin. whn we got back home, b4 soulmate went 4d Friday pryr, we tried 2get some rest 4d evening (we needed full charge batt 2scream our lungs out 4d training session! hehe!) i got a call frm my dad. he said thr's a courier mail frm oversea 4me. i got confused whn he said it ws frm Manchester.. i ws like, 'wht?? MANCHESTER??'. wht ws dat? i mean, i dont rmbr having any frens frm Manchester. (i wish i hv! a MU futbol plyr myb. hehe!) then he opened it 4me n voila!! dis is wht it ws :

i totally 4got dat i had sometime ago entered a contest @d Man Utd's official wsite. as u all knw (ok myb some of u knw) my daily morning routine is 2check my mail, then d Man Utd's official wsite n d soccernet.com (in dat order). of course, thr ws dis contest @d Man Utd's wsite whrby, if u won, u'll get d training pass 4d Asia Tour. i entered d contest without any expectation cz i dont rmbr ever b'g lucky even in a simple lucky draw 4some unfancy event anywhr. bt 4d 1st time in my going 2b 27 years in dis world (blimey! i told u my age!), i won 2passes 2c d Man Utd training session! so wht u think of dat?? but its ironic though cz soulmate n i alredi got our free pass n wht's more ironic, it arrived on d morning of d training itself! i mean, u cldnt get a better timing, cld u? bt whteva! i still cant believe it! i later told my cousin dat he cld invite anothr 2frens with him n meet us @d stadium so we can give him his passes.

soulmate n i went 2d stadium quite early. we didnt wanna get caught wit traffic n ws hoping we can get gud park'g space. later we met my twin n abg pesal n waited 4our cousin 4almost 2hours! of course, s expected, meme got herself a brand new jersey, n yes, d latest kit! n u knw wht? it ws 4pm n my cousin ws still in Rawang n tot he cld arrive on time cz he ws riding a motorbike!! we were furious! we heard d roar frm inside d stadium n almost instantly, we ran 2d entrance gate n tried getting ourselves inside cz we tot we missed d Man Utd's grand entrance! but luckily, they were actually cheering 4d Msian team, n we still hv n hour 2go b4 Man Utd's turn 2train. Since we got in frm d green gate, we tot we cld sneak in 2d VIP box 2get a better view. We were running around n in d end we were back @whr we started @d green gate! bcz obviously d plc ws already filled up! since we were alredi tired, we settled in with d nearest plc we cld get, middle of 2nd tier. n wht of our cousin, u asked? his fren's bike got punctured along d way! talk abt misery! bt he managed 2arrive jz in time 2watch d team's entrance.

d stadium ws a flash of red sea. right whn d FRU marched in, d roar ws deafening! n it ws only d FRU! it ws a bit hazy dat day n inside d stadium d view ws somewht blurry. then a glimpse of red shirt @d side of d field shook d stadium even more. it ws actually Nick Coppack, one of manutd.com's journalist, bt everyone went crazy no matter who came out! all dat matters they were d visitors! n d first 2come out ws none other than Paul Scholes. My twin n i went frenzy jz like d rest in d stadium. i ws shouting 'Scholesy!!!' like a mad woman n we were clapping our hands as if they hv just scored d winning goal against liverFOOL! then more came out and we were lost in d frenetic chants of Man Utd's adoring fans! we even 'registered' ourselves 4d mexican wave. i ws shouting their names (Giggsy's d loudest obviously) we were squinting our eyes, pointing 2each players, trying 2recognize them in d flesh, searching 4 d Gaffer n went ga-ga everytime Van De Sar waved. it was awesome! Sometime later i realized dat soulmate ws no longer bside me. I went a bit panicky n turns out he went further in front 2get a better view of d team. we gave a standing ovation aftr d training, all seems happy dat we were able 2catch a glimpse of our fav team in action. It was definitely d best time of my life! (after my wedding of course) it was crazy! bt i reli love d experience dis time..

whn we got home, i had d worst headache ever!! my head ws hurting like i ran into d walls or something! i swear my eyes felt like it ws gonna explode! i went 2bed so early dat nite, my battery went 'kaput!' almost instantly.. so so hepi nonetheless! n 2learn dat they r staying 4anothr match is jz a blast! i dont hv d photo wit me yet. bt will post it once i get it frm abg pesal. he brought d best camera d othr day. hoping dat we got nice shots of us enjoy'g d session!

I WONT MISS IT FOR THE WORLD! i reli cant explain d excitement im feeling rite now! last time they came, i had d best of time watching d training session. scholes impressed me d most. watched and went ga-ga over giggsy frm afar. n my sis drooling over becks. took so many pics, clapped my hands so hard everytime someone scored. i wished i ws on d field with them! i rmbered last time, d morning of d training, my twin went missing n we only realized it whn she called me 2ask 4my opinion on wht name shld she put on d back of her jersey; she ws actually @d Man Utd's megastore in Sunway Pyramid 2buy herself a brand new jersey so she can wear it 2go watch d training dat evening! she already has man utd jersey, she jz wanted a new one! crazy woman!

2moro will b somewht a deja-vu! but better! owh gosh! i seriusly am so excited i think i wont b able 2sleep 2nite! wht's even better abt 2moro is dat, dis time im go'g wit soulmate!! dis morning i washed soulmate's jersey (Man Utd's away jersey i got him 4his bday dis year) so it'll look nice n shine whn he wears it 2moro (not dat it needs wash'g). i've chosed mine. i've a number of man utd jersey but i'll wear d home jersey 2moro. not d latest one, i hvnt bought it yet. my twin said she'd pre-order d new kit. i dont reli like d new kit, but will definitely buy one still. so eager 2go! im all smiles today. nothing can dampen my spirit! n excitement! my ofcmates kept on making stupid jokes cz of d smile plastered on my face. but nope, not gonna get irritated @all. he who laughs last, laughs best! i think im floating.. felt like falling in love all over again. get it? whn u get so excited 2go on a date. something like dat.. ok, fine.. since i cant reli describe my feelings today, how abt i ramble n boast all abt it in my nx post? cz im sure i hv lots of things 2say aftr i got back. hehe!

i ws listen'g 2 d radio (HITZ.FM of course) sum time ago n they were debating on 'can man n woman b bestfrens?'. hence, here come dis post. i alwiz wonder y cant a guy n a lady b bestfrens? it'll nva hppen (im not sure if its generally, bt @least 2me, it nva will take plc) even if u could (minimal cases), ppl will start 2 assume differently. they'll say thr's some hanky panky goin' on sumwhr. n im talkg abt real bestfrens. like i'll-get-ur-back bestfren; i'll-b-around-whn-u-need-me bestfren; i'll-be-blunt-honest bestfren; i-can-say-all-abt-d-person-im-hvg-a-crush-w-n-u'll-help-me-2stalk-him bestfren.. u cant get it if u'r frm diff gender.

ok, 8 is not my fav num. i love 11. its been my fav num since i was born! (>.<) i wore num 11 whn i ws in d hockey team, i once had an operation on 11.11.01, @11am (no, im not kidding!), whn soulmate asked on scale of 1 - 10, how much do i love him, my answer's 11. but whn i ws blog hopping (yep, im @my desk @d ofc. SO??), i bumped into dis new 'things' tag n im tempted to post it since i dont knw wht 2 rite 2day. so, here it goes :

Hi everyone! (as if..)

I am finally back @d ofc. I've been away frm dis radar cz i ws involved w d international seminar we r having @a hotel in Shah Alam. 1 week straight.. Lemme think.. owh yes!! i 4got.. i got busy since d weekend before!

k, on saturday, adorable soulmate n i went out 2buy pressie 4a fren ~audrey~ (hehe! dat's a nick name.. we named ourselves referring 2d tv series jack n jill), gud fren of mine when i ws in uni (doing diploma). since we r close frens, we hv our wishlist dat we notified each othr so we'll get sumthng which we need 2start our married life. so, she hs already told me wht she wanted. bt whn soulmate n i went 2 d shop, soulmate suggested a better pressie which costs abt d same s wht i tot i'd buy 4audrey. so i called audrey; who ws just finished d solemnisation event; 2let her know dat im changing d pressie n assured her dat wht im giving will b much more appropriate. of course, i hv a brilliant soulmate, hence its a great pressie! hehe! so, i got back n wrapped all 3 pressies (1 4audrey, 1 4anothr fren, n 1 4hubby's fren); n prepared 4 d evening's wedding of anothr gud gud fren, Eina!

so, Eina's wedding dat evening ws @Hilton PJ. Got to meet her bubbly sister, Eiha (who i spent sum minimal bt enjoyable time with, whn i ws in Sabah) n most importantly, 4S91614!! i got a seat bside Oja n we were hv'g rocking laughs d whole time, beginning frm d 'FYI, ayam ni boleh makan ngn sos' announcement made by d waitress! (as if we dont knw hw 2eat d chicken!) as wht i alwiz did aftr our gath, i took a snap of photo with everyone who came 4a momento. i'll try 2upload it soonest possible. all in all, it ws a great wedding n im so hepi 2 b able 2 meet them!

on sunday, i actually hv 3weddings 2attend. bt only managed 2go to 2 of it. Were extremely guilty 4not being able 2 attend Rezan's wedding (anothr mmbr of 4S91614) 1st, soulmate n i went 2 audrey's wedding. i bumped in2 anothr fren (technically, it ws soulmate who saw her), anne; who ws my schoolmate n also went 2do our diploma 2gether. soulmate n i got out of touch w anne n we hd been tryg 2get her contact details so we cld invite her 4our wedding but 2no avail. it ws unfortunate dat i met her aftr my wedding n she ws a bit furious i shld say whn she found out dat soulmate n i are actually married! bt all went well, now dat we hv each othr's contact number n we r living nearby, we'll go out sum time soon whn we'r free. then met audrey, didnt manage 2 get a photo cz we were rushing 4anothr wedding. frm audrey's wedding, we went 2soulmate's fren's wedding n drop by @hs parents hse. All i can say is dat, its a wedding week n we were stuffed w d most number of nasi minyak ever!

frm Monday 2 Friday, event ws hectic! we were organising dis i'ntl seminar @a hotel in Shah Alam, i ws d master of ceremony 4 d event. its a gud thing though i finally got 2 meet most of d ppl whom ive been emailing with but hv never seen them face 2 face b4 cz they r frm anothr country. even 1 of them (frm d new delhi ofc) mentioned in the closing speech, "I've been speaking w *Miss B 4so many years, bt dis is d 1st time i met *Miss B, i didnt expect her 2b so delicate n fragile". she did mentioned 2 me dat she ws expecting a taller, n bigger size *Miss B, rather than a petite 1. We had a dinner event on Wednesday night @d event venue n thursday @Seri Melayu KL. On Friday, we brought d participants 4a study visit in KL, Seremban n sight seeing @Putrajaya. Sum = TIRING!!

Saturday ws great! It ws soulmate's idea 2invite my family 2his family's kem herba. He said i shld invite my family 4durian's feast since its d season now. initially, i didnt agree cz i dont think its appropriate 4us 2show up @his family's camp jz 2whallup d durians,(especially whn i dont eat d food, b it d king of food or not!) bt soulmate suggested we hv a bbq n such, n bcz i didnt really hv concrete reason not 2inform my family, i went along with his interesting suggestion. so we went back 2Langat last saturday, went 2 c my mom n sisters in law+K. Long, not long after dat my family arrived. yana (my sis's 1 n only daughter) went in2 d river in no time! soulmate n abg chik (his brother) prepared d bbq plc, so we hd our picnic, my uncle got 2 eat his fav durian with all hs 3sons n all d men got a tour around d camp complete with a briefing frm my father in law. All in all, soulmate is brilliant 4coming up w d suggestion cz its been a long time since my family hd our last picnic. bt unfortunately we had to go back a bit early cz soulmate had 2work dat night.

Sunday (yesterday), i went 2an assessment 4a job ive been applying since 2007. i've went 2 d same assessment twice b4 n i basically knw wht 2expect frm it. considering d fact dat i didnt exercise @all 4 nearly a year, i think i didnt do so badly 4d fitness test ystrday. bt 2day is like a 'hangover', excrutiating pain all over my limbs! they asked us 2do freakin 30 times jumping jack(it ws counted as 1,2,3 - 1; 1,2,3 - 2; 1,2,3 - 3; ....); 30 lompat bintangs (i dont knw hw 2 describe dis part. bt u begin in a squat position n u hv 2 jump s high with legs n hands widely apart like a 'star'); 20 pumpings on d road (yup, tar!) n a short distance sprint. i almost passed out thr n then bt manage 2 barely stand on both of my feets 2end d day. n it ws a surprise dat i still can drive home, alhamdulillah, safely, without any injury n without any cramps! thank GOD!

today, im still in pain, my arms hurts bcz of d pumping we did, n my legs r wobbly.. n of course, im so very lazy cz its been a week being away frm ofc, n i dont like 2 c d piles of memos n works on my 'in' tray. myb i'll start aftr dis. its already half day n considering dis morning i ws in a meeting. hw unproductive! i reli shld go!
